Murray and D'Vine - Taguig

Murray and D'Vine is a new acquisition of The Bistro Group. I visited before to try their ostrich burger, which is no longer part of the menu... They did maintain their curly fries, nachos with beef and cheese, burger sliders, and their beef salpicao-- all of which were served for the group that night... ???????? I love fries, more so twister fries because it's so fun! I liked the BBQ flavored fries the most among their three available flavors. Nachos are always a good option for bar chow! Though I didn't try the burger sliders anymore, I did try the salpicao... It was pretty spicy, but seriously I couldn't stop myself from eating it... To think I was already (theoretically) full...???? I mention bar chow because this place is more about drinks and cocktails... They offer discounts on selected cocktails before 7pm... I tried the mojito that night and had a couple of sips from a friend's frozen margarita... I preferred the Mojito... And I learned that night that you can never go wrong ordering a Mojito in any of the Bistro Group's establishments... They have perfected this drink, take my word for it...???????? It's such a laid back place to chill and hangout in... Plus the friendliness of the staff is a major plus point for me!????

A perfect way to end a long day... a few drinks. A perfectly flaky and sumptious fish and chips, and a juicy slab of ribs! Gotta love how the servers remember the names and orders of their patrons.

Really enjoyed the chicken and cheese skillet. The breaded chicken was huge, almost covering the entire skillet. Although it wasn’t juicy all throughout, the cheese and tomato sauce compensated for the lack of flavor. The rice, however, was too little.  It was dark inside the restaurant and loud music was playing which was why I chose to dine outside. Luckily, not a single person in the nearby tables smoked a cigarette while we were there.

Went here on a Friday evening and sat upstairs to watch Wimbledon tennis on TV. Had a few drinks including La Bella Margarita, Mojito, whiskey plum, red sangria and SM premium. The Margaritas were the best of the lot and quite potent. They aren't skimping on the liquor. Mojitos were ok. For food we had Burger Sliders, nachos, beef salpicao, Gambas, fried mozzarella cheese and BBQ chicken flatbread. Salpicao and sliders were good. Gambas was ok. Flatbread and fried mozzarella cheese are avoidable. Nothing very memorable about the food or drink. Nice set up and friendly service. They need a menu revamp, in our opinion.
