Vezi toate recenziile.
If you're working at one of the tower's of Science Hub, this is the nearest place where you can buy freshly cooked meals. It's a little pricey but the food here is nice. Specially love their BBQ sauce. My go to foods here are the Chicken Karaage which while it's named with the famous Japanese chicken strips is actually a Chicken Skin marinated with their special breading and is best eaten with rice and BBQ sauce (Regulate eating it since it's bad for your help but delicious), Honey Barbeque Chicken which is a Fried chicken fillet with a Barbeque sauce and rice, Chicken Steak with Mojos which is s fried chicken fillet with mojos and lately I've been loving their Grilled Liempo which is a Grilled pork belly served with rice and as is most if their food best eaten with Barbeque sauce.
If you work around the Science Hub area in Mckinley Hill like me, this is definitely considered as one of the go-to places for lunch or dinner. The first time they opened, I would usually order their bestsellers Jasper's Chicken or the Chicken Karaage. I thought it was okay, nothing too special. Until one day I gave the grilled liempo a chance nd that was it. I never ordered anything else after that. It was (sinfully) good. I mean, it's grilled liempo...how can you not like grilled liempo?! And if I'm really hungry I'd add an extra order of Chicken Steak and Mojos. Not the healthiest combination but it will definitely satisfy your hunger. Note: make sure you have coffee or tea after to allow the oiliness to wear off your system. It will make you sleepy!
The cheapest food I ate around! The quality was pretty decent. Thanks to a few locals who introduced us to this place. There only issue I had was the lack of gravy with the rice, so it felt too dry...
I loved their food. Never mind if they're just a food stall right smack in the middle of Science Hub, I would fall in line for the food. The bestseller I would think, is their Chicken Kara-age. It's not the usual Chicken Kara-age you find in Japanese restos... Their Chicken Kara-age is chicken skin fried to perfection. Just chicken skin, no trace of meat whatsoever. Crunchy and tasty (I can't really discern what marinade they used) and it goes well with either the barbecue sauce or the vinegar dip. The calamansi iced tea is to die for. It's not powdered iced tea as one would probably expect from a food stall. I was told that they brew tea bags (I dunno what kind though) and mix freshly squeezed calamansi juice and sugar syrup to make it. It's PHP 70 for a liter or more than half a liter of this iced tea. Servers know their food, and keep their cool as they take orders and prepare them. The owner, who is there most of the time, is hands-on too.
Backstory: so this is one of the nearest store at my office. Just smelling it good. Food: FAIR. i love their big sized calamansi iced tea. Totally my all time favorite should be a must try on this store. I am a fan of chicken meat, you may want to try their spicy chicken. Ironically which is not really spicy. Price: above cheap and below expensive. So it will cost you around 200 pesos for a full meal. Same price as what the bee and the clown can offer. Ambiance: since this is a small store there is no enough space for eating your food. I think it is meant for "to go" orders. Customer service: awesome for me as we can talk to the crew casually. Plus they flashes their friendly wide smiles. I scored this as 3.5 because they have limited selection and i wish they could've set up table and chairs to accommodate foodies like me. The matching of price and food. Although, it can be fair. I hope they can make it cheaper. Happy eating!!!
