Contribuiți la feedbackI took my mother here, along with her favorite apo to celebrate her 50th birthday and brasserie sagana not disappointed. eating was a bit expensive. I spent 8k for 4 people, but it was worth it since we celebrated and we enjoyed eating. the service was great. we were served with bread and butter while we waited for our food. we ordered french plank soup, creamy tomatenbisque and smoked specksalat for our appetizer. for our net we ordered grilled apahap, us wagyu onglet and us lamb chops. we also asked the waiter to serve us a bottle merlot to couple with our dinner and he did not disappoint. eating was great, the ambiente was cozy, and the inner was warm, but festive and unpredictable French. my niece even made friends with the French bulldog by christine reyes' friend who sat in the al fresco area. overall our dinner experience was great and I will be here more often, only if I lived near bgc.
An excellent French restaurant with locally sourced ingredients. All dishes rated excellent by everyone in our party and the Algerian cous cous, the rabbit and the wagyu onglet stole the show. The pate and cheese boards for starters were very good, and while appearing thin on the cheese plate, we were not lacking for quantity. All in all, an excellent dinner choice, highly recommended for a gathering of friends or romantic dinner.
The best part about this place was the friendly staff and the sense of privacy. I thought the layout was very smartly done such that no matter where you sat, you felt like you had a little private corner of the restaurant all to yourself. We had read reviews about the escargot and knew we wanted to try it. It was just ok, not sure we bought into the hype. The risotto also lacked a bit of flavor, we felt. Having said that, everything else was amazing. My sons ordered the beef tartar, ratatouille and wagyu sirloin. My wife and in-laws ordered the ravioli and shrimp. They were all very, very good. Oh lastly, the sangria and selection of house red wines were also very good. We had ordered a bottle and did not regret it. I would have had a 2nd bottle of wine if we had more time!
Very good and affordable food. Really recommended. Will come back for sure. Specially mention to the Cheff and the staff, very kind and warming. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
