Gasthof Liegl - Taggenbrunn

During my summer visit to europa, my family from Munich, showed me a piece of heaven in st george the long. it was for a celebration of a family member for her 80th birthday. I came out for the celebration of the usa. This family is an established restaurant for generations, the son and the woman take over from his parents. both generations take their parts. very beautiful and welcoming! the food has great 5-star presentation. farm too table excellent quality, a taste to dream of- ok I am still! I had a chocolate celestial whisper, had the roast with a side spinat. they put this on their lists to visit the place. that is a good meal after the visit of the burg!

This restaurant is a wonderful gem in the middle of South Austria. we found the service and the hospitality wonderful. we called the restaurant after we were lost something and the owner gave us wonderful instructions and waited for us at the door when we arrived. they make their own apple juice, vinegar, jam, schnapps etc. the food was very good and the attention to small details was beautiful (the butter with fresh baked rolls, delicious petersnip and bearded amuse bouche, and a delightful small chocolate and celestial muffin after we have dessert rejected).) it is worth the ride and the price.

Sehr gutes Essen, schöne ruhige Lage. Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Qualität spricht dafür. Vielleicht etwas zu teuer.

Völlig übergestaltete Preisgestaltung. Speisen eher auf Gasthaus Niveau, Preise auf Restaurant Niveau.Personal/Wirt + Service sehr bemüht, Küche ebenso.Die Grüße aus der Küche wären nicht notwendig.

Wir haben spontan nach einem Restaurant in der Nähe von Sankt Veit gesucht . Auf der schönen Terrasse war nach telefonischer Reservierung auch schon ein Tisch mit Babystuhl für uns bereit. Extrem freundlicher und bemühter Service. Auch unser Baby wurde ganz lieb und freundlich in Empfang genommen . Schöner Kinderspielplatz. Hervorragendes Essen , guter Wein. Preislich für Kärnten schon sehr gehoben , aber für uns jedenfalls wert . Danke für den schönen Abend !
