Bite - Tacoma

This place was so total. the waffel tasted just like a continental breakfast waffel. I don't think it's worth $7. it was dry, with 4 slices of strawberries. the waitress was very nice overall. but there is only so much that they can do when eating is not good, with terrible trips

Great food. Great service. Amazing atmosphere. The chicken sandwich from the bar area was delicious. They halved it for us so that I could share with a friend. We had a great stay with fantastic food and service. Thank you!

Loved dinner tonight with friends and family: salmon, naked wings, burger, prawns, cocktails and mile high cake and ice cream. And truffle fries to die for. Lisa was great!

Definitely would recommend! A fun creative menu with a modern atmosphere. I ate at The Bite 4 or 5 times while in Tacoma on business. Each time I has great service. Go check them out!! I believe they rotate thier menu so there is always something new to try. Worth the visit and great food at very reasonable prices!!!

I was in the dog house : . I was in the doghouse.<br/ <br/ I found a day spa at the Munaro and booked some treatments to make 'nice nice ' with the other half and capped the afternoon off with a meal at Bite Restaurant at the Hotel Murano. The spa gal informed me the bar and Bite share the same kitchen and menu, with bar offering a screaming happy hour price structure most small plates $5)! <br/ <br/ After our massages, we elected the restaurant for table seating instead of the bar or low squatty seating about the lobby bar area. Greeted friendly we at 5:00 were the first to be seated in the restaurant this Wednesday.<br/ <br/ Great attention to detail the sweet cream butter portion was soft not rock hard and sprinkled with a coarse rock salt, and a fragrant sprig of rosemary in the bread basket of two cornmeal rolls, and some not crisp but kinda soft crakery flat bread. The fresh blue berries in my 'continental breakfast ' pre dinner cocktail made me smile.<br/ <br/ We ordered three small plates and one of the larger portions. <br/ <br/ The first small plate was the fries with gorgonzola and gravy were crispy warm but not hot, the blue cheese not overly strong OK but the next small plate of calamari was better light crispy batter nice small portions not trying to get half a squid in your mouth) served with an ok red sauce and tarter. When the calamari arrived it was hot and tender and I ate till I was content and they cooled to the point well I had enjoyed them at their prime no need to finish the plate. <br/ <br/ The last small plate was the short ribs, braised with a roasty red sauce to a tender cut with your fork good..<br/ <br/ The other half smitten by comfort food and pliable from the massage ordered the 3 cheese truffled macaroni which turned out to be by far the best dish on our table. Not a heavy thick cheese sauce but light and swimming with bountiful portions of truffles, slight browned on top to a golden crust I pilfered from the plate across from me. The other half was happy reveling in the nice size of the serving read not huge) rich flavored yet not a coaty, thick glompy sauce well a smile was generated and I credit the 'mac and cheese ' as my pass to get out of the dog house…….<br/ <br/ To the Chef For that 'kick ass ' truffled mac and cheese that help my loved one smile. I thank you!!
