New Empress Chinese - Sydney

This restaurant is the real deal, with excellent service and delicious food! It's a fantastic choice for takeout, offering a variety of dishes that will satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. I would definitely eat here again, 10 out of 10!

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants of all time. It still maintains that traditional feel with waiters in bow ties. The dishes are delicious and packed with MSG. I can tell because I almost have an asthma attack every time I eat here, but I wouldn't change a thing. I'll enjoy some satay chicken and then have to use my inhaler before the MSG makes it hard to breathe. I'm excited for my next visit.

Excellent service here in a massive restaurant upstairs.<br/ <br/ Standout foods are salt pepper prawns and squid. Prawn cutlets and satay lamb. Crispy beef and san choy bow yum.<br/ <br/ Always fresh food and a wine selection, although at times they dont have all listed.<br/ <br/ Glad i didnt go mothers day it sounded chaotic, had same problem where i went as staff just didnt turn up.<br/ <br/ Been done up now after the flooding, looks great inside now very fresh.<br/ <br/ Cant talk that salt and pepper up anymore you have to try it out!

I've been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. Food is always fresh and good. I have built up a repore with the waiters who are always there and are friendly with great service. The restaurant is large so you can block off half for a function with dance floor available. Menu is extensive . They also have a disabled stair lift if required. Plenty of parking. There is no reason to go anywhere else.

I went to this restaurant again today. It was excellent as always. I highly recommend trying the salt and pepper squid or prawns - they are to die for. The satay, lamb san choy bow, spring rolls, and crispy duck pancakes were all deliciously good.
