Jang Ta Bal Korean Charcoal BBQ

Really really busy but you can put your name down on a list and they'll text you when a table is ready. Korean BBQ isn't my favourite but I did enjoy this one. We ordered the mixed beef set which all came with nice marinades. The food tasted much better after being cooked on the charcoal grill unlike other places I've been to which uses electric. I like the casual feel of the back of the restaurant but it can get a bit cold.

Come here 7pm for dinner. We order mixed set (beef & pork), premium Wagyu scotch fillet & steamed rice. All came with side dishes. First time I tried to grill it on charcoal. Both menu are taste great & fresh. Kindly staffs. Excellent dinner. Be aware of the smoke ;) & anticipate a queue.

Food was fairly enjoyable and the atmosphere in the open area at the back is apparently reminiscent of the casual 'al fresco' dining experience back home in Korea. I, myself had the opportunity to catch a friendly face here during eating BBQ who was here with her own companion and we ended up sharing the same table. Overall it was a positive experience and there was nothing particular to fault.

Nice place, nicely marinated meats, very nice cheesy corn as a side dish but i am very upset with the vegetable hot pot they served us green leafed vegetables that were brown and were off, very horrible because if you are going to open up a restaurant and have people pay for food serve fresh stuff not stuff that has been put off.

Great food with great service. Only downside was that the workers had a little difficulty understanding my English but it wasn't a major issue.
