Taqueria Jalisco - Surrey

It has been some time since we enjoyed a delicious Mexican meal. Despite being in a less desirable part of town, there are numerous Mexican/Latino eateries in the area. This particular establishment is situated in the center of a strip mall. The Carne Asada, Quesadillas, and Tortilla soup were all delicious. We will definitely be returning to this neighborhood for another meal.

I went to the restaurant with some friends and we tried a variety of menu items. They had a new dish called the "mega quesabirria". I opted for the Menudo and it was delicious, very reminiscent of authentic Mexican cuisine.

This restaurant is fantastic. I really enjoyed the Mexican cuisine, atmosphere, and music. You have to try the tacos.

Stop at Jalisco Restaurant for the first and last time this afternoon. Our waiter was excellent. Friendly, efficient and did his job well. The problem was eating. I had the Quesadillas with cheese and Carne Asada and my wife also had the Chili Rellenos with... Carne Asada. They were both terrible, very fat, not much cheese and the meat was disgusting. It almost tasted. For the first time we were not very impressed and would be hard forced to go back. The coffee was excellent by the way. With other reviews that could have been one day for us. The restaurant was busy and had a large turnover of Mexican males. Always like to give a restaurant a second chance, so more than likely to try again in the future, but not impressed for now.
