Pinch of spice - Surrey

I ordered food online for delivery through DoorDash. Unfortunately, the Manchurian dish I tried was very watery and didn't taste good. I do not recommend this restaurant and I will not be ordering from here again.

My friend's family rented out the restaurant for the evening to host a celebration of life for his late mother. The food, served buffet style, was over an hour late but when it finally arrived, it was excellent. The fish pakora was particularly tasty, and most of the dishes such as butter chicken, tandoori wings, and veggie pakora were pretty good. However, the bar service was terrible with poorly made drinks and a limited selection. The table decorations seemed cheap and had a strange burnt plastic smell, which we ended up removing. Overall, I'm not sure how the family covered the cost of the food and drinks, but I would consider returning for a solo lunch. It seems like they do well with take-out orders, so it might be a better experience during normal operating hours.

I recently visited Pinch of Spice for lunch, and it was a last minute choice as I was in the area. I ordered the coconut chicken curry, rice, and garlic naan. The service was a bit disorganized, with multiple staff members attending to our table. The food itself was average and not particularly special or flavorful. What disappointed me the most was the discrepancy in pricing; the menu stated that a portion of rice would cost $5, but I was charged $6 on my bill. It seemed unreasonable to pay so much for a simple dish of plain rice. Overall, I was not impressed with the service or the food, and I would recommend trying other Indian restaurants in the area like Tasty Indian Bistro or Spicy 72 instead. , who were visited with family friends on the occasion of our high season, the lawful service, no one served the water for the longest time, brought the wrong order instead of roti brought cold nans the server did not recognize the courtesy how...bad they were we need to ask for water a few times!

Their Dahl is the best I have had, polished the whole bowl with a bit of vegetarian rice pilau. We also ordered fish curry and kadhai fish. Excellent service and it came fast and piping hot. Everything tastes good especially fish pakoras. Bindhi okra...is awesome and so is the creamy butter chicken and tender lamb curry. Will be back for sure.
