Jetty Shack - Surfside Beach

I've been coming here for a bite to eat and to relax since the 90s with my mom, and now I bring my teenage son. I still love this place!

I really wish we had a place like this in Pasadena, Texas. MJ and Angie are amazing here! The hamburgers are incredibly delicious, and the Philly Cheese sandwich is fantastic as well!

The atmosphere is very relaxed, and I absolutely love the food!

I'm not commenting on the food itself. However, the hours listed are misleading. We arrived at 9:30 PM on Saturday night, and the posted hours indicate that they close at 1 AM. The chef and the bartender informed us that they were behind on orders and were no longer taking any new ones, despite there only being four orders ahead of us. They really need to have more staff on hand. We drove 35 minutes for these burgers, so this was quite disappointing.

The waitress is sitting at a reserved table, smoking. We've only been here for about 40 minutes, and she's already puffed three times. It's really disappointing. We can't even enjoy our food because of it. Not at all.
