Fuji Sushi Buffet

If you go here, try and sit by the sushi bar. Normally, you have to line up to order sushi from the sushi chefs. People seated at the bar are able to order from the chefs if you grab their attention. My main issue was that the sushi selection was small. What was available on the conveyer belt was even smaller and most of what we wanted needed to be ordered from the chefs. Quality was OK. Not worth the almost hour+ wait.

Pretty good. Sushi, sushi sushi, lots of sushi. Dont plan on going from work on your lunch hour, unless you do lunch at 11 am. Every table was full at noon.

Everything was delicious. The staff were polite, quick, and very attentive to my daughter and me. The service was outstanding, especially considering how busy they were.

This location isn’t quite up to the standard of the Davis site, and it doesn’t compare favorably to the Vacaville branch. Since this Concord location just opened, they’re likely still figuring things out. The service was slow, primarily because there was only one person taking orders, which led to a long line (see photo). The sashimi wasn’t very fresh, as the texture had begun to deteriorate. Additionally, there isn’t much variety in the grab-and-go section, and the same is true for the conveyor belt selections. I have a great appreciation for the Vacaville location, and I hope this Concord one improves over time. For sushi and rolls enthusiasts, be aware that this isn’t an authentic Japanese restaurant. During our visit, I didn’t see a single Japanese staff member. I’m giving it +3 stars for the location, similar ambiance, and standard food, but -2 stars for the poor food quality, slow service, and ineffective management of the staff.

This is an excellent spot for sashimi and nigiri lovers! However, it tends to get quite crowded, and the hours are fairly limited. As a result, the wait can be quite long unless you make a reservation in advance.
