Peet's Coffee - Lafayette

Peet's Coffee Tea in Lafayette, California is the best coffee house in the Bay Area! I have been to several Peet's locations, and this location has the most friendly employees and provides the highest quality of service that I have experienced. I always love the drinks that I order there as well.

No restroom for customers only for employees. Had to walk down to Whole Foods to use a restroom. Not an acceptable restroom policy for a coffee shop?

The coffee here is fantastic, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is flavorful, although the menu is somewhat limited. A double shot latte packs more punch than its counterpart at Starbucks, so I would choose Peet’s over them. A nice perk is that you can get a free specialty coffee when you purchase beans. Parking in the strip mall is free and convenient. It can get busy on weekday mornings, especially if the local bike club stops by. If you can, it’s best to place your order ahead of time using the mobile app. I’m giving it four stars because, on occasion, the egg and cheese sandwich hasn’t been cooked all the way through. Make sure to check out the back of the coffee shop for outdoor seating, as there’s only one table out front and a few inside. Overall, this is a charming little neighborhood coffee shop with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

I really enjoy Peet's, but this location is my favorite. The staff is incredibly friendly and consistent. Leesa is especially wonderful, and Faith makes the best latte I've ever had!

Pete's serves some of the best coffee I've ever had. This particular location boasts an amazing staff. Vikki is a true superstar; she can tackle even the most complex orders and deliver them swiftly. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves coffee!
