Nanny May's Cafe - Sunset

Good home cooked food and very nice staff. We will definitely return.

Great food and friendly atmosphere!!You have got to try Nanny May's fried catfish on Friday or Saturday night!!! It is a dish you will come back for over and over again!!! Yummm!!!

We stopped off in Sunset, Texas this morning looking for somewhere to eat breakfast and came across Nanny May’s. Called them from 287 and went there. Our breakfast was awesome. Coffee was great. Girl serving us was awesome. We met with the owner (can’t remember her name sorry). Your restaurant and food is awesome and thanks for talking with us.

It was very pretty, and I like that the drinks came in Mason jars. The food was delicious. I had a side of okra, a chicken quesadilla with black olives mushrooms green peppers and lettuce.

Love this place, large homemade cooking, with a lot of Texas hospitality
