If I'm paying $10 for a burger, I expect at least a decent bun—something sturdy enough to hold a half-pound burger. Instead, I received a poorly smashed bun that felt like it was printed out. It was so over-compressed that I could almost see the chef's fingerprints on it. The $3 side items and the $6 milkshake were both very lackluster as well. While everything had decent flavor, I don't think I'll be returning.
This was my first time dining at Mighty Fine Burgers, and it was actually my first stop after being picked up from the airport in Austin on July 27th, right after I entered Texas. My best friend, who lives in Austin, took me here for lunch, and what a delicious experience it was! I had the classic burger, loaded with flavorful toppings, and the onion rings were absolutely fantastic. To top it off, I indulged in a blackberry cobbler milkshake that was incredible. If you live in Texas and haven't tried this place yet, you really should. I only wish there was a location in South Carolina! The super friendly service made the experience even better. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!
More. I'm sure the quality of the meat makes this burger $8.99 but I'm not willing to eat here again quality or not. the burger tastes good, but it's like eating a big meatball on a bungalow. I like my burgers rather flat. the salat on my burger was shredded, not the leaves of the salats. P.Terry has a great task to get leaves of salat on her sandwiches. the French fries are small cars, not my style. Yesterday I ordered onion rings. they were so hard! I asked the manager if they should be like that. she said they were on a timer..sorry she never asked to see the wobbles or try to make it right...maybe dissatisfied!
I drink the avocado (vegan) burger. I had better vegan burgers in town. the fries were great! good service, beautiful place.
Mighty Fine burgers really lived up to their name – they were truly fantastic! Honestly, you can't go wrong with fresh, homemade burgers, and theirs are among the best I've had in quite some time. The 1/3 lb burgers are thick and juicy, sure to satisfy your hunger. The crisp, cool lettuce and tomato provide a perfect contrast to the hot, cheesy patty. And those onion rings with their spicy sauce? Absolutely amazing! I'd order them just to enjoy on their own. As for the staff, they were top-notch – friendly, attentive, and super fun. It’s just like Rick Flair would say: Wooooooo!
