The menu is relatively simple, but there's a good variety. We ended up getting the camarones a la diabla (spicy shrimp), chicken enchiladas, and an agua fresca (Jamaica). Food came out pretty quickly and we were given some chips and salsa to munch on while we waited. We enjoyed the food. Thr spicy shrimp had heat, but I could tolerate it with the agua fresca to cool me down. I also got to sample the chicken enchiladas and I enjoyed that as well. The agua fresca came in a giant mason jar. We were glad we were sharing given the size because we are limiting our sugar intake. It was good and not obnoxiously sweet, but you notice the sugar when you normally drink flavored seltzer. Overall, we had a good experience and enjoyed the food. It is just a slightly pricier option than our normal go to places. Of course, this is a small business and all prices are going up nowadays. Plus, we haven't been going out as much for a while, so my scale may be out of date. We also got plates and one was a seafood dish. They offered some less expensive options as well. So, I'll definitely come back to check out some of those other options.
Though unassuming from the front, this place honestly surprised me. The al pastor and carne asada were well marinated and were crisp yet juicy. The super tacos are a bit messy and a little heavy with the inclusion of rice AND beans but for the amount you get, I can't complain. Opt for the regular tacos if you really want to appreciate the taste of the meat
Carne Asada is kinda dry, but Enchiladas and beans are great. May try something next time
