Windmill House Chinese Take Away

My party ordered takeout for four people on New Year's Eve at 6pm, which cost £37. Unfortunately, when we opened the containers, we discovered that the food was barely warm and very sticky. Regrettably, we were unable to return it as we had already started drinking. Consequently, all four of us suffered from stomach problems. Most of the food ended up being thrown away. It was definitely not an ideal way to start off 2023. This was the first time we had experienced issues with this restaurant, as we have ordered from them before without any problems. Perhaps we will try Indian food for our next meal.

In my opinion, this Chinese takeout restaurant in Sunderland is the best. Even though it's a 15-minute drive from my house, I always choose to pick up my food because it's worth it.

The service at this restaurant is excellent, starting from the efficient phone call to place the order to the quick delivery. The food was delivered hot and the portion sizes were large. This is the best Chinese food I have had in a while. I strongly recommend this takeout option.

First time we have tried this place..recommended by a family member ..we preordered...cash on delivery...extensive menu...food was served very hot and was delicious...we even got prawn crackers in the bag which was a nice treat.. excellent service.. excellent food..very pleasant staff...we will definitely add this to our favourites....

Decided to try this Chinese restaurant after reading a change for hands and was not disappointed. The best sweet and sour chicken in a long time. I phoned in the order, told 40 minutes. And it was ready to collect. Fabulous. Will use again soon .
