Aperitif - Sunderland

The place was rammed on a Tuesday night which meant that service took a while, but it was friendly and accommodating. Once we ordered, food came out pretty quick despite it being busy. The food is average, nothing to rave on about like so many people here. I’d recommend the goats cheese starter for sure. The mains dishes are plentiful but if you’re after elegance, you might want to head somewhere else. Oh, and it’s dirt cheap! I visited this restaurant for the first time with a friend, and I can guarantee it won't be my last! The food was incredible, and the service was impeccable. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. You’d be hard-pressed to find food that’s both delicious and beautifully presented anywhere else. The owner and staff truly made us feel at home and valued. Everything was absolutely perfect! I'm quite picky, but I couldn't find a single thing to complain about.

The service was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. I had the best Grilled Halloumi I've ever tasted! There was a live singer that added to the wonderful atmosphere after our meal.

We received absolutely fabulous service from Lucy (I think) last night. The restaurant was incredibly busy, but we were fortunate enough to have a table for six reserved after attending The Greatest Day show next door. The staff took excellent care of us, and the food and cocktails were divine. No trip to Sunderland would be complete without a visit to this place.
