Mash was inedible roast potatoes were undercooked and hard the pork was just fat Won't be returning here again with my family really disappointed

Great staff. Great food. Very clean premises. We will be back. I espeyenjoyed the very lean pork. My wife and Mum both chose to have beef and pork. Also a wise choice.

Warm welcome on arrival, shown to a seat and offered and alternative table near the window, which we accepted. Presented with menus and given time to choose, offered drinks and we decided water with our meal, water with a piece of lime in was brought and we were shown the way to the carvery( we have been there before but the layout was changed a bit) There was no queue and the chef on duty was attentive, the selection of vegetables was wonderful (we did mention in our review that the vegetables were not very hot but the Turkey was succulent and veg. very tasty. We like the Carvery where we can get as much, or as little, to satisfy our appetite really enjoyed the meal !!

The carvery was disappointing, the service was slow, but such a scandal welcomed. the flesh was beautiful, but very thin cut, the filling was bland, the puddings also blande and the frying were greasy

Absolute dear toby restaurant at the barnes in sunderland, we often go there as we can. Sunday dinner is always delicious and the service they get is the second to none. fantastic.
