I really enjoy cozy, home-like restaurants, and this particular spot brings back fond memories of dining out with my parents when I was a kid. The restaurant is small but perfectly captures that welcoming atmosphere. The server was incredibly sweet and took the time to patiently take and serve my order. I tried the pork sisig, two asado siopaos, two servings of rice, and for my drink, I had sago't gulaman. The siopaos arrived first, and they were delicious—just the right amount of meat and not too much bread. The sisig was served on a sizzling stone plate, which I absolutely loved (I believe that's the best way to serve it!). The sago't gulaman was tasty as well. I genuinely enjoyed my experience here and will definitely be returning and recommending Mami King to others!
Filipino cuisine that you can enjoy even when the head chef isn’t around.
