Contribuiți la feedbackLoved the chicken!! Never had KFC w/ fruit before but I enjoyed the combo. I was with a friend and we ordered half and half of soy garlic and chili, it was more than enough for both of us. Gol Tong was nice and welcoming and we really liked the napkins, gloves, plates and chopsticks were all at the table. The ambiance was a little intense since it is a small place with tv's all around you but we did enjoy watching all the kpop music videos playing and talked a lot about them. Overall, I'd recommend checking out this chicken place for a fun time :
Great food interesting mix of fruits with the chicken! Meat fried perfectly and super tasty. We had the combination plate and it'll be enough for 3 people easily. Gol is super friendly. Thanks for a great experience Gol Tong!!
Good food, good service and nice owner... its just we want rice and they dont have it lol but overall it was great experience..
This place has won me over. I can see whats so appealing about it. Its so charming. You should check out the article on LA Eater about Gol Tong Chicken and its charming director. I loved the backstory of this Mom and Pop shop. Its really no frills. You go in, you sit comfortably admist large TVs and kpop videos. There's paper plates, napkins, and gloves on the side. There's only 1 employee Director Gol Tong. Hes this cute 70 year old man who was once a director, and is now this famous KFC king. Best KFC I've ever had. There's only 6 items on the menu, but its more like 3 items the Original KFC, the Chili Chicken, and the Soy Garlic. There's no sides, but there is a self serve drinks fridge that cost like $2 per soda. Definitely worth the price. I'm coming back.
Valet is $3 or street parking. The menu is small and simple, chicken. I dined in and had The Director's Cut. First off, the presentation is everything. A huge plate of chicken topped with fruit is so good. When you bite into the chicken you get a mouth full of happiness. There's original, soy and hot sour with honey mustard and hot sour sauces on the side. Since the Director's Cut is 2/3 servings I took the rest of it home and it still tasted good. Everything you need; napkins, plates, etc is on the table so you don't need to ask for anything. The place is small and is run by one man. THE man himself.
