Contribuiți la feedbackZero stars Worst service ever. I ordered wine, water and a roast pork dish. First she forgot the water and I had to remind her. No apology. Then they brought me the wrong dish. Veal schnitzel. Again no apology and she sighed and asked if I would just eat it. I said fine because I was starving. One bite and I knew it was veal and not pork. I had to wait fifteen minutes for her to appear again so I could explain I don't eat veal. She sighed and asked what I wanted. What I wanted was what I ordered in the first place! I got it and ate it and it was fine. She cleared my plate but ran away before I could ask for the check. She disappeared for twenty minutes and I had to ask her colleague for the check. She came ten minutes later and slammed it on my table and tried to run away again but I told her I could pay immediately and gave her money and waited for my change. My change came back short. They charged me for the schnitzel which was more expensive. At this point I'd been there two and a half hours so I went inside and said there was a problem with my check. She snapped that I should sit down and she would come in a minute. I told her I couldn't wait any longer. She sighed and I explained the bill was wrong. She said her boss said to charge me for the veal. I said but it was her mistake and my dish was cheaper, why should I pay more? Before I could finish she sighed and threw five euro coins at me. I took them and walked out. I can't believe this place is in the lonely planet guide. Never, ever go there!!
Normalerweise hat der Schellenturm sonntags nicht geöffnet, vielleicht hatten wir deshalb kurzfristig eine Chance am Muttertag einen Tisch zu ergattern. Eine außergewöhnliche Location mit Flair. Wir saßen im oberen Stock und hatten eine sehr freundliche Kellnerin. Der Aperitif auf Empfehlung des Hauses war sehr lecker. Das Essen war gut, aber das Essen meiner Tochter war zu salzig und ich hätte mir zum Spargel mit Kräuterpfannkuchen mindestens einen Schinken gewünscht. Es gab dazu kein Fleischangebot. Das fand ich schade. Sensationell war das Muttertagsdessert. Schön fürs Auge und geschmacklich fein abgestimmt.
Wir waren auf einem Kurztrip in Stuttgart. In den Schellenturm wollten wir schon lange mal. Die Reservierung eine Woche vorher hat zum Glück hingehauen. Daher rechtzeitig an die Reservierung denken. Der Service war sehr angenehm. Die Speisen alle auf den Punkt und super lecker. Hier versteht man das Koch Handwerk. Insbesondere die regionale Küche. Ein wahrer Genuss, wenn man bedenkt auf welchem kleinen Raum gekocht wird. Das Ambiente ist super klasse im Schellenturm. Wir fahren demnächst wieder mal 200km, um dort zu essen.
Visited this little gem of a restaurant with a group of work colleagues. The restaurant is old, rickety and rustic, and set within a tower over two floors. We were squashed into a corner on mismatched chairs and tables cobbled together. We ordered a selection of local red and white wine to accompany the hearty food on offer. Service was friendly and helpful and the menu selection of salad, beef and pork didn't disappoint. Dessert was pure comfort food and we opted for baked plum pie. We loved it - all.
Die mit besten Maultaschen im Großraum Stuttgart. Aber auch die anderen Gerichte wie Rostbraten sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wir sind regelmäßig zu Gast!
