Mr. Jalapeño Cocina Mexicana - Stuart

Decided to try some of the local Mexican cuisine while in the area, something not franchised and this place looked inviting. We had the chips and salsa and nachos to start, both were excellent. My husband decided on a steak burrito (extra charge for the steak option) which was a very large and packed full of rice, beans steak and covered in a queso. I had the steak tacos, the meat was well done and was on the dry side. Rice was bland and so was the beans. Service was quick and server was great, she came back multiple times to check to see if anything else was needed. Glad we tried this place but I don’t think I would go back.

This place was amazing! The food was so flavorful and the presentation was delightful! We got the trio fajitas served in a pineapple and it was so delicious! The steak was tender and the shrimp was the best tasting shrimp I’ve had in a long time from anywhere! Also loved how the queso was served in a cute edible fried tortilla. The server was super nice and the ambiance is lovely! Go to this restaurant for a date or fun dinner with friends !

Love this place! Great staff! Food is delicious and there's plenty of it! Just ordered for a 2nd time. Frustrated that you can't just call and order... I ordered through their website and was charged a service fee! Boooooo. Not cool. This will be a factor for ordering again in the future.

I ordered crazy fish on the menu for $21. Not only was it overpriced, they were specifically told not to put anything on the fish itself. Their service failed to listen and got the order incorrect. The seating at the booths were uncomfortable. My back started hurting after 7 minutes. I am very disappointed in the restaurant's service.

Fast service and delicious food! The restaurant offered both indoor and outdoor seating. We also enjoyed a live singer during our visit, although he was a bit too loud. It made it difficult to hear the person I was sitting with and our waiter.
