The Nippy Chippy - Stroud

We are heading to visit my brother in Haresfield and plan to stop by Stonehouse for a special treat during our visit. Despite being a few miles away from where he lives, we always make the trip for the delicious food at Nippy Chippy. The quality of the food, service, and atmosphere all receive top marks from us. We travel all the way from Cardiff just to enjoy a meal at this fantastic restaurant. Overall, we highly recommend it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The delivery service at this restaurant can be inconsistent. Occasionally, the food arrives hot and fresh, but other times it is cold. Overall, the quality of the food is generally good.

This place has been our 'go to ' for fish and chips for years but the last 3 or 4 times the delivery has been late. Most recently it was an hour past the *end* of our delivery slot by the time it turned up really frustrating when we have a baby to put to bed. I rang up to complain and was told the manager would ring back to sort it out but they never did. I understand that they get busy, especially at the weekend, but why offer 15 minute delivery slots if you can 't fulfil them? The food at this restaurant is amazing, and the staff are exceptionally attentive to a young man that I accompany. We opted for takeout for dinner and found the prices to be very affordable, ranging from £1 to £10 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5 in our book.
