The Lord John - Stroud

I met up with one of my clients and came here for the unlimited coffee and a bit of breakfast. The staff were friendly and we had lots of room to do our meeting, the WiFi was good as well which helped when we got our laptops out. Definitely worth going to for informal meetings. What a pleasant surprise! I've lived near Stroud for over 30 years but never stepped foot in this restaurant before. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the drinks were reasonably priced. The average cost per person was between £10-£20. I would rate the service and atmosphere both a 5 out of 5.

The Lord John offers a selection of clearly marked vegan options on their menu, mostly consisting of sides. They also have a tasty sweet potato and chickpea curry that I thoroughly enjoyed. For breakfast, they offer a simple yet satisfying option of toast and fruit for vegans. I did not have the opportunity to visit for lunch, but based on my experience, I would recommend trying their vegan options.
