The Fire Tower Tavern - Stratton

I write post strictly on the food quality. The food here was the worst I have had in a very long time. The pasta with marinara was literally just a can of tomato juice on pasta. The Cesar salad was over powered with lemon and had bacon that was not edible (hard as concrete). My sons Mac and cheese looked like milk with noodles.. he said it tasted ok.. but he was starving. We have been coming her for nearly a decade. Unfortunately, the food and service is inconsistent. There are times when the Manhattan pieced food is well worth it served by very attentive waiters. Other times the food is mediocre and the staff is downright rude. It makes me angry for those who work very hard here and do not deserve a bad review.

It is not open. It is closed. Their door says they reopen May 25. Everything else closes at 8 PM, so not sure if we will have anywhere to eat now, that we wasted time driving here

Absolutely delicious meal! Server discreetly monitored our table and reacted as our needs demonstrated. We had the daily specials (salmon, pumpkin ravioli) and they were fantastic. My only negative has nothing to do with staff—there was a party of eight that had one person who could have been heard next door. It was so loud we couldn’t carry a conversation at our table of three (we were 20’ away, 4-four tops between). The restaurant has an intimate feeling but the noise level was distracting. Dietary restrictions: Server was considerate and assisted in recommending adjustments for dairy allergy restrictions. I would give this place zero if I could. They advertise take out so I called to place an order. The woman was rude and said repeatedly asked how many people were in our take out order because the kitchen was busy. She put me on hold and came back never never giving me an answers on if I could order. I asked her why they didn’t want our business even though our order was almost 500$. She said I should go to mulligans down the street because they could use the business. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
