Taal - Strathaven

We absolutely adore this restaurant. We have visited for pre-theatre meals, ordered takeout (tonight), and even enjoyed just pakora when they had live music during events like Hangerfest and Gala Day. The food, service, and prices have always been exceptional. The service is super friendly and our meal on a Saturday evening was served quickly. The food was excellent, especially the special dish of the day. The portions were generous and reasonably priced. The atmosphere in the lovely building is fantastic, a huge improvement from the old Cabin tearooms. Definitely worth a visit, and we will be returning. I visited this restaurant because of its great variety of vegan options. The food was delicious. I would be excited to see an Indian twist on vegan dishes like Korma and chasni. They have a good selection of vegan options for those with dietary restrictions. The service was good for dining in. Overall, I would rate the food a 4, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 5. The price per person ranges from £30 to £40 for dinner.
