The Planet Diner - Stratford

Haven't been in awhile but never disappointed with the food. Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn't working so it felt a little hotter than normal while eating my meal that also includes spicey buffalo butter sauce...totally worth it! Even with them being short staffed the service was excellent. Tried the cinnamon rolls for first time and they are definitely the best I've tasted anywhere.

This vegan carnivore restaurant is fantastic! I went with a party of 8 family members and everyone was pleased with their dinners.Our waitress was also very nice and fast to ask if anyone needed anythingVegetarian options: Almost everything on the menu was vegan with exceptions for carnivore friends ? I'm not a vegan, however I tried the vegan planet burger with fries and loved it.Kid-friendliness: My 9 year old daughter ate her food and all of grandpa's fries ?

In response to owner- id be happy to have told you how we felt at the time but again, our waitress nor staff were around for us to talk to anyone. We came here after watching a play and it was disappointing. The mac and cheese main dish is so small and my chick 'un burger only came with the chick 'un , lettuce and mayo. There wasn 't a single other vegetable and the plate looked so empty- burger barely fit one corner of the plate and just a few fries and then just a random gap of emptiness. The waitress and staff looked so angry and barely came by and talked to us or attempted at customer service. We drove from Brantford and were excited for their food but never again. Meal was not memorable, not worth $20/per and their service was non existent.

The service was ok, it was probably just a bad day after a bad rush, but the waitress seemed overwhelmed with only 4 table to attend to. I had to ask twice for water and wait for 5 minutes for a fork when my food arrived. My mac and cheese was not to my taste at all.It’s a lovely place, but today was a bad day I guess.

Good options for people with dairy allergies, requiring gluten free (including Celiac), and vegans. They also offer delicious pulled pork for the “carnivores”.
