Erie Drive In Restaurant - Stratford

I recommend trying the footlong hot dogs. They have a variety of delicious options to choose from. The hamburgers are also very tasty, and don't forget to try the deep-fried pickles. The soft serve ice cream is amazing, especially the unique zebra flavor. It's a shame that they are not open all year round, so make sure to visit in the spring if you're craving some delicious food!

Foot long hot dogs are always fun, the ice cream is good. It was a bit of a pain trying to know where to line up during the plague , but now that we 're hopefully through that, people will be more able to line up for their goodies. I 've only been there a couple of times but it 's fun old-time to go to a drive-in .. too bad there 's no movie with the food. :

I was excited to visit this restaurant after reading the reviews and being a new resident of this beautiful city in search of a few tried true local hotspots. Have to sorrily say I wasn 't impressed. We all ordered poutine and an order of battered mushrooms to share. Though a filling meal, the battered mushrooms were over cooked, just shy of being burnt, and the poutine was not awesome. 1) Each one varied in portion size; some plentiful while others hardly filling the cardboard container. 2) Lack of gravy in all servings/portions. 3) Fries were not what we expected, not saying they weren 't fresh crinkle cut since all of us held different opinions, however, we all agreed we expected better for this type of restaurant. Usually the fries keep customers coming back. 4) Not authentic poutine at all. No cheese curds as expected, just a cheap bi coloured, marble cheese blend that didn 't even melt more wilted looking. For the price, we all expected cheese curds. ...Not sure if we visited on an off day. The line was long which typically indicates yummy awesomeness yet, for me and my bunch, not so satisfying and nothing to write home about.

We always have to stop for a cone when we have time. They have great waffle cones and different dips for the cones as well. The chocholate and peanut butter are two that I saw while we were there.
