It's always a great pleasure to visit here. Cannot fault anything... Sunday lunches are amazing, staff really friendly and a great atmosphere. I have organised a couple of birthday parties here and all the guests loved it, especially family from Canada and USA. Stopped on the way home for an evening meal. Staff were friendly and welcoming and had no wait for a table. The menu was varied with lots of choice. The waitress was very nice and attentive. We had 2 courses, mains and dessert. The mains were very tasty and the 2 desserts (mini chocolate cheesecake and the normal apple and damson crumble with custard) were exceptionally nice. We attended a large family meal here today and it was wonderful. The staff were excellent in helping with wheelchair access for our 98year old grandmother. Jenny in particular was a perfect host, attending to our every need, polite, cheerful and warm smile. There is a good range of beer and an extensive menu including some delicious meat free meals. What a lovely venue to spend a few hours with family. Vegetarian options: Plenty. The salad bowl was delicious but the meat free burger sounded great too. Hard choice. Even fish free fish and chips! Dietary restrictions: We weren't asked about this but I'm sure if you had specific dietary requirements then the staff would be really helpful. Parking: Large car park. Kid-friendliness: Absolutely.
