Ce îi place lui Kyle King la Rico Libre:
Nicio plangere.
This restaurant is a hidden gem located in an industrial area, with a lime green lacquered building that may look like a cafe for workers at first glance. However, it is actually a Spanish tapas restaurant. Reservations are recommended as word has spread about this place. The menu features both regular dishes and daily specials. It is best to order a variety of dishes to share. The food was delicious, especially the duck and goat curry. There is a wide selection to choose from. It is a BYO restaurant, so remember to bring your own alcohol. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is lively and bustling. It is a great place to have a meal at a reasonable price, with the option to order soft drinks if needed.
I've watched lyrical about my dear to rico libre. aside the emotional connection I have to the building, for me it is one of the first places I recommend to anyone who asks where to eat in birmingham. its uncomplicated and unpretentious, amazing cheap, and always welcome. above all they know taste. there is no room for the shy, everything is boldly seasoned and spiced, the pfefferwolf on a constant rotation. its authentic art and wise that Spanish food does not attract any beats.
Rico libre must be one of my favorite restaurants in birmingham. it is the most unlikely place to find fantastic food, but this is all part of its charm. under a side street in digbeth, it can feel as if they go in the direction of an abandoned industrial property in the dark, instead of a popular restaurant, and once inside, the surreal nature of the restaurant continues, with band plakaten on the ceilings, a random old sofa and some strange looking ornaments. the Tapas courts themselves were always with each visit on the square. the menu has a quantity choice, with seperate sections for meat, fish and vegetarian. also what are in the basic tapas dishes, like patatas bravas, seem to taste 10x better here, and the fish, like the garlic puwns, always taste really fresh. we had a lot of luck with the specials that are served on a little bigger tellers. the soft shell crab was really perfect at our last visit. I can also recommend the garlic flabread as an appetizer that they do not lie when they say there is a lot of garlic, which is not bad in my book. rico libre has no license, which means that at the end they do not end up with a fierce soaking bill. they demand that they spend £17pp to make it worth their time. this is done easily as most tapas dishes are around a £5, a little more for specials. rico libre is one of those places that they want to take all they know just to see their surprise at the place and the quality of eating.
Great tapas bar with the always welcome supplement....bring her own alcohol. added that wee who could choose my vater was pretty cumbersome, but still nice to see! so anyway. I thought the whole thing we had was great, but I must say that the dishes from the standard menu were better than those on the special table for me! You can not have a classic dish from any area of the world meats, if it is done properly and all that we had from rico libre was before place. -the stars of the show chills patoris were so friendly and so well served. I would recommend this hidden gem to anyone who is a fan of Spanish eating and wants a truly authentic experience in brum.
Birmingham has an abundance of Tapas restaurants, but in my opinion, Rico Libre stands out as one of the best. Upon entering, you are greeted with a standard menu as well as weekly specials on a board, creating a concise yet diverse menu. The restaurant, which used to be a cafe, has a cozy interior that gives off a feeling of dining in someone's front room, which adds to the charm. Every dish I have had here has been perfectly seasoned and balanced, never disappointing. And to top it off, Rico Libre is also very affordable, with 3 dishes on the standard menu priced at £14, and you can bring your own alcohol. Be sure to make a reservation as it tends to be busy!
