I had lunch at The Smithy. The fish and chips were not the best I've had, but still good, and the carrot cake was exceptional. The atmosphere was pleasant.

We absolutely adored our experience at Smithy's! The owners were incredibly friendly, and the food was exceptional. We dined with my parents and our five selective children, and everyone found something to enjoy. I tried the turkey, cranberry, and Brie sandwich one night, and fish and chips on another night. One of the kids opted for chili, which was a hit as well. The strawberry milkshakes/smoothies that the kids ordered were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making us feel extra special. To top off our dining experience, we indulged in some Millionaire Shortbread which was so tasty that we bought more to take with us. The following night, we were so impressed that we returned to Smithy's for dinner. It's worth noting that the restaurant closes early, so be sure to keep an eye on the time if you plan to dine there. I still find myself daydreaming about our meals at Smithy's...

We stumbled into here from the mist and rain. The hostess was amazing. The food was incredible. Haggis was on point. The sandwiches tasty. The baked potato was supreme.

Had a lovely lunch here today, the fish and chips are to die for! Absolutely amazing! Staff are so friendly. Great baby changing facilities also! Love the fact that this gem of a cafe is right on my door step!
