Contribuiți la feedbackThe chefs are obviously talented and have some great ideas, and the waitress could not have been more attentive or helpful, but the first courses came fast and then we had to wait between some of our courses, which then put a downer on our evening and see the experience. more than 3. 5 hours to serve 6 courses when it is a set menu and they know when the people on the turn up is a long time. the music was very loud and was not played by the random mix of music that does not fit with the beautiful delicate food we eat.
Went there with no expectations and I was stunned! By far the best food I had in Stavanger and probably in Norway. If was very innovative , no option to choose but who needs to when all served was impeccable. The wine selection dogs not meet the food standard but I will still give this place the highest reviews.
As a visitor of Stavanger, please be aware that I am not familiar with the big restaurant scene. That means I can't imagine a better culinary experience in the city and if so, that's wonderful news for everyone. The facility is cozy with an open kitchen that leaves nothing to the imagination. You will see your dishes prepared before your eyes. I'm sure the menu is constantly evolving, but the cooks work with Cod was OUTSTANDING. I have no doubt that the employees at Egget are proud of their craft and show it. Make a point to visit.

A very special and intimate restaurant in Stavanger. It is the cook that decides what to use, and you just say stop when you are finished. The dish we got was served mainly tapas-style seafood. The wine was very good and I enjoyed the experience. Some would say it's expensive, but I think it was worth it.
