Contribuiți la feedbackFresh, house made, delicious pizzas! Lots of vegan options it was hard to choose
First off, I hate St. Louis pizza. It’s like eating a cracker. We found this place recently and drooled over the vegan options on their site. We secured and reservation and the excitement started to build as we headed to the restaurant. The first thing you see when you walk in is the big pizza oven which got us even more excited. Once seated, we started with the garlic knots and devoured them in minutes. We quickly move on to the Tea Maker which had an amazing cashew cheese and vegan sausage. I wish I could say that I tried the desert but, the pizza was so filling that I didn’t have any room left. Oh well, I know that we’ll be back soon.
They have vegan mock meats and vegan cashew cheeses that are house-made, AND the vegan options were the same price or less than non-vegan items! I hadn't had garlic knots in years, they are amazing here. They also have a vegan dessert which I didn't try, but the pizza was fantastic!
Excellent food!! Watch your pizza being made in an authentic wood fire pizza oven. Flavors are real and quality is evident in everything. Really nice staff and overall feels to be part of the community. For vegans or vegetarians this is a must visit for St Louis.
I’m heartbroken; this used to be, by far, my favorite vegetarian restaurant (with vegan options, for me) in town. I support my carnivore friends including my husband but personally choose only to eat at vegetarian or vegan restaurants. Pizzeoli has a new owner, and they now serve meat, so I’m sad to say that I never will eat here again. Happy Cow needs to update their information right away for others who share my preference for meat free places to eat! For those who aren’t as particular, hopefully the pizza at least is still delicious... What a bummer.
