Contribuiți la feedbackThis Tapas bar is a hidden gem at the end of Ackland Street. Unlike many noisy bars in St Kilda, this one offers a peaceful atmosphere and ample seating. While some may have criticized the limited drink options, I didn't mind the affordable beer selection. The venue also features live music and serves Ethiopian cuisine. While there is a smoking area upstairs, the downstairs space is still enjoyable. The lower rating from other reviewers may contribute to the relaxed vibe that I appreciate.
We recently tried Lost shortly after it opened, and it seems like they still have some kinks to work out. The food was lacking in flavor, and the lack of salt and pepper didn't improve things. When we asked for bread while waiting for our meals, we were told they didn't have any. It was surprising to see another table receive bread 10 minutes later. While I understand they are a new establishment, we won't be giving them another chance.
A Simple dish like garlic bread was tortured within an inch of its life then presented like charcoal tablets , the waiting staff were good and were made out of omelettes.
This is a great little Tapas bar located down the far end of Ackland Street. What was really cool was that unlike many of the other bars in St Kilda (especially on a warn day) this one was really quiet and it was really easy to find a seat. Okay, I've notice that others have completely panned the place, but personally, I really liked it. Mind you they have only two choices on tap - beer and cider, but that didn't faze me all that much since the beer was actually really cheap. The also have live bands and serve Ethiopian food (or at least that is what they were advertising). Upstairs is a smoking area, but the down stairs area is still pretty cool. The low rating by other reviewers probably helps give this place the quiet ambience that I really like.
We tried Lost not long after opening and would appear they still have some bugs to iron our. The food was pretty bland and no salt and pepper didn't help matters. We asked for some bread while waiting for our meals only to be told they didn't have any. Surprising then to see another table get some bread 10 minutes later.I know they're new kids on the block but they won't get another run from us
