The Indian Express - St. John's

I picked up lunch today from Jerry's Fried Chicken, and I tried the Shawarma Biryani along with a tub of Butter Chicken. The food was exceptional, and the portions were large for the price. We saved the Butter Chicken for a meal at home, and I must say, the sauce was abundant, delicious, and expertly prepared. The taste-to-value ratio of all the dishes was a perfect 10 out of 10. We also visited the restaurant on Hunts Lane, and the freshness of the food clearly contributed to how great it was. Thank you, Jerry and family!

This is one of the best spots for Indian takeout in the area. The food tastes fantastic, and there are plenty of customization options available. One downside is that there is no dining-in option, but that's understandable since it's designed as an express service. For those with dietary restrictions, vegan options are available. As for parking, there is convenient parking right in front of the building, so you won't have any issues finding a spot since it's primarily for takeout.

The food was excellent. I would have preferred it a bit spicier and with a touch more salt. The portion sizes were generous, and the owner is fantastic!

I absolutely adore this place! If it were possible to give more stars, I definitely would. The Indian Express offers generous portions at fantastic prices. Everything is made fresh to order and has never let me down. The vegetarian and non-vegetarian combo provides a little bit of everything, and you can even enjoy Canadian cuisine here!
