Expected big things that are based in it when trying the essential restaurants. 2 pieces of fish and chips ordered. Total disappointment. The 2 fish pieces were so small that it was part of the child. Definitely not worth $20. We live in NS so... know how a 2 piece of fish and chips should look.

3 meals of fish and chips ordered for lunch. Totally disappointed. Fish was dry. Fries tasteless. No cutlery, salt, vinegar or ketchup included. Save time and money.

We needed brunch on our first day in Newfoundland and had not expected to stop at a fish and chip shop, not least because we didn't need a big meal. Such a “snack” of big pumices and onion rings and coffee (hey so healthy! turned... as quite large with huge broken onion rings. A bit expensive, but it's worth it.

Found this place on Tripadvisor, the reviews were good. Limited menu, mostly fried food. I had the two pieces of fish and chip and it was good, think deeply roasted. My wife had the fried chicken wings and the fringes. She wasn't too impressed, but she didn't know what she got. It was full of wings and quite huge, deep fried scattered in the same as the chip. I'd say hold on to the fish and chips unless fried chicken is your thing.

Very informal, relaxed. We sat in but clearly lots of takeout business. We all had 2 piece fish and chips. Fish was fresh and not overly greasy, fries were fantastic. Had gravy on the side, it was really good.
