Blue on Water has gone one of my go to places for breakfast/brunch.

Modern decor and intimate ambienceIt's adjacent to a hotel that's also artisticI wasn't a fan of their cocktail since it's a bit strong for my taste.

This place was recommended by a number of people from across the country when I was making inquiries about St. John's. The experience did not disappoint. The place was jammed full but the staff went out of their way to accommodate me. I had salmon and cauliflower and perhaps the best asparagus ever. The drinks were professionally prepared of very high standard. The place was buzzing but everyone was polite but yet very friendly and talkative and I learned a lot about the city I would not have found out aboiut otherwise. A great experience overall and met some super people in the process.

This is not a cheap restaurant, but the standard of food was indeed excellent. Menu is non-standard and all the better for that. Service lacked something as things were forgotten and we had to ask again. Overall definitely recommended.
