Bamboo Garden - St. John's

My wife and I visited Lucky House for the first time this evening and we were extremely impressed! The dishes were delicious and made with fresh ingredients, and the prices were very reasonable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We opted for takeout, but the restaurant itself looked charming and inviting. Lucky House is definitely a fantastic choice for Chinese cuisine in downtown St. John's. We are satisfied customers and will be returning again soon!

The customer service at this restaurant is amazing! I ordered dinner for a friend who was stuck in a St. John's hotel due to a positive COVID case. I wanted to send her a nice warm meal, including some soup. Despite being in a different province, I decided to use Skip the Dishes for the delivery (big mistake!). The driver never showed up to pick up the order, leaving it sitting at the restaurant and getting cold. The restaurant in Ontario called me to inform me that the food was ready for pick up. When Skip the Dishes refused to do anything beyond refunding my money (which could take up to 10 days), the restaurant took matters into their own hands and sent the food to the hotel with their own delivery person. While the food may not have been as hot as intended, that was the fault of Skip the Dishes. I am certain it was a much better option for my friend than cereal and cup of soup. Thank you Lucky House for showing that you care about people!

After a friend's recommendation, I decided to try out Lucky House for a family dinner craving Chinese food. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful service I received when I walked in to order takeout. The portions were generous and all the dishes we ordered were delicious. Our favorites were the Lucky House fried rice and the beef and broccoli. What stood out was that none of the dishes were too salty, which was a welcome surprise.

Used to be named Banboo Garden Restaurant, triggered my memories by todays sad news. Wish the new business will running well in this place.

The tastiest, most delicious Chinese food the beef triangles are fantastic, and the service is even better, love this little restaurant...its a must!!
