Lupitas Cocina - St. Charles

The service was friendly, and the food was delicious. The shrimp tacos were particularly outstanding. The atmosphere was pleasant and quiet, making for a nice dining experience.

We dined outdoors and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, I couldn't have a Margarita, but I did manage to take a sip of one, and it was excellent. Overall, I’d rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars. For dinner, the price per person ranged from $50 to $100.

This is my first review under 5 stars! My coworkers and I decided to go out after work to relax and unwind after a long week, but unfortunately, we felt rushed and like we were a burden to the restaurant. According to their listing, they are open until 9 PM, but we were informed that the last call for the kitchen was at 7:45 PM. Then, we noticed the chef leaving and everything began to close down. I don't think we'll be returning, even though we wanted to support a local business.

The service was excellent, and the restaurant was clean. The ingredients were fresh as well. However, I found the chicken quesadillas to be disappointing. The fajitas were quite small, and I was charged extra for additional tortillas. Additionally, avocado and sour cream were also extra, which was frustrating. The menu listed the chicken fajitas at $16, but I was charged nearly $20. Overall, the bill was quite high for what was offered on the lunch menu. I would suggest trying other Mexican restaurants in the area before considering this one.
