Tacotime Saint Albert - St. Albert

This is a typical fast food Mexican restaurant. I enjoyed my gordita, and the hot sauce had a pleasant taste. It wasn't very busy, probably because it's somewhat hard to spot from the highway. Overall, it's a solid place to stop for a quick meal.

The staff seemed too busy to greet anyone, which was quite surprising. I ordered a simple two-taco meal, but they got it wrong, and the potatoes were cold. I didn't even feel like bringing it up with the staff. For context, the place was empty, as shown in the pictures, and there were no cars in the drive-thru. It's unfortunate. The restaurant feels like it hasn't been updated since 1984, with dirty, stained floors. The shared bathroom is in disrepair. On the bright side, the tacos were decent. As for parking, it's a nightmare—avoid it during rush hour!

I’ve been coming here for years and usually have a good experience, but today was disappointing. I had to wait for 10 minutes in the drive-thru with only one car ahead of me. I ordered three food items but only received two hot sauces instead of the three I should have gotten. Additionally, the food was cold, and the drive-thru attendant was rude.

This is the best spot for tacos, and there's usually a short wait at the take-out window. For vegetarians, the bean burrito is absolutely delicious. As someone who avoids wheat, I appreciate the many options available!

I highly recommend avoiding the drive-thru. The speaker is so damaged that it's nearly impossible to understand what they're saying, and I'm sure they can't hear you well either. I ended up leaving without placing an order because I didn't want to deal with the frustration. It shouldn't be necessary to go inside to place an order—that's what the drive-thru is meant for.
