Contribuiți la feedbackWe used to frequent this place often. Great for families and parties. Management and staff were great! Must be new owners now the place was empty and the servers seemed inexperienced. It's definitely lost it's charm.
Tried to pass this off as two pieces of tiramisu. First pic is one piece, rest of the pics are the second piece. $26 for this from Skip. Returned both to restaurant. Only offered 50% refund worst experience all around.
Generally we order from the Famoso in the north end of Edmonton but tonight we were in St Albert and ordered take out from the store there. The salad was old and turning brown, the extras (walnuts, cranberries and cheese) could hardly be described as extras as there was hardly any. Overall, unappetizing to both the eyes and the palate. Not eaten. The Thai pizza was also a huge disappointment. It’s my favorite and the Edmonton branch delivers. The St Albert offering was uninspired and I wish I could say tasteless, but unfortunately after two bites, it joined the salad in the trash. It left a weird aftertaste which was enough for me. The only reason for two stars is my wife’s salad and pizza was just ok. A waste of money and based on the more recent reviews, not out of line with many others.
This Famoso used to be 'my place '. I ordered from them, sometimes weekly, for years. They were always so accommodating of celiac and gluten sensitivities that you could eat almost anything on the menu, with a substitution. Sadly, recently that all just ended. They suddenly stopped their gluten-free substitutions altogether. Now I can no longer eat at my favourite restaurant at all. It 's really sad that they 've stopped accommodating us, as Famoso was always known among the celiac community as a safe place for us to eat.
Really good service for a Monday lunch. The traditional Margherita Pizza was on special and very good.
