Strap Tank checks all the boxes. Great place to meet friends. Broad menu. Very good food. Excellent service.

Had the fish and chips and was super impressed with the quality of food. Our waiter was super helpful and respectful. The firecracker cold slaw is splendid and the fries were nice and crunchy. Great job.

We went in with a big group and sat in the back room. The atmosphere was awesome and I cannot say enough about the server that we had. She was on top of everything, super nice, and well, I would hire her. For an appetizer, I had the crispy brussels with lemon pepper aioli. They were crispy and slightly earthy, dipped in the creamy aioli, the sour of the lemon balanced it out so well. I could have had a couple plates of those and been happy. Where it fell flat for me was the tri-tip sandwich. The first part is a preference, I like a thin cut on my tri tip on a sandwich, it was cut pretty thick. That coupled with the fact that it was over cooked and cut wrong, made it way to chewy. The flavor was good, but it is just not that pleasant when you have to gnaw through a sandwich.
