Sarita's Taco Shop - Spring Valley

The asada fries didn't live up to my expectations. Overall, the food is just average.

One unusual thing I've noticed is the evil eye within the Star of David; while I understand the symbolism, it does seem a bit out of place in a taco shop. However, if it's late, and your wife and kids are asleep, and you're craving a great meal without spending a fortune (only to leave half of it uneaten or claiming you'll finish it tomorrow), this is the place to go after 11 PM. Just remember to dispose of the receipt and containers afterward, or your wife might not be very happy!

This restaurant consistently delivers excellent food; everything I've ordered has been fantastic. I particularly enjoy their red and green sauces—I use both because they're so delicious. My son and I often share the breakfast burritos, and they are more than enough for us. They also offer catering, and they've provided great service for a few of our work and home gatherings. This is probably one of my favorite places to eat, and I truly appreciate their dedication to creating high-quality dishes at reasonable prices.

The extremely simple order we place is somehow messed up 30% of the time which makes ordering here in combination with the 30 minute wait times really unappealing. Food is good if they can get to you correctly and you're fine with waiting a long time. Call ahead if you want to get out within the same hour.

The reason I gave a 4 star is because first of all we weren't greeted. The front counter guy seemed to be overworked. Standing at the front counter he was putting other orders together, answering the phone repeatedly, checking on his cell phone charging. Finally we got helped placing our order. It took about 25min wait time to receive the order .
