La Sinaloense - Spring Valley

I would love to give this restaurant five stars because the food was absolutely fantastic. However, I did experience some issues with the waiting times, which were longer than we were initially told. That being said, I had a craving for a mocajete—a traditional Mexican stone mortar filled with three types of meat: steak, chicken, and shrimp, accompanied by cheese, cactus, grilled onions, and salsa. OMG!!! It was simply spectacular. The portions of beans and rice were generous, and there was so much food that we ended up taking home more than half of it. For two drinks, a dozen oysters, and a mocajete for two, we spent $90. It was worth every penny, even with the wait. One thing to note is that the music was quite loud when we visited, which made it difficult to have a conversation. Overall, despite the waiting and volume issues, the food was exceptional—flavorful and plentiful.

The food was absolutely fantastic! We shared a molcajete filled with carne asada, chicken, shrimp, noodles, and cheese. The rice and beans on the side were also delicious! We ordered Micheladas as well, and they did not disappoint. Overall, I will definitely be going back!

So many good things to say about this restaurant! The seafood was spectacular. Service amazing. Live music- the 3 guys were great. Such energy. And yet it is a comfortable family and neighbourhood place

Feels much like eating in restaurant by the beach in Mexico. I go here for seafood. Every meal has been excellently prepared and delicious. Menu has many choices and very few are fried. It is a hidden treasure. absorb and enjoy. rosalea
