The Peddler Steak House - Spartanburg

I must say, the Mission dish I ordered was really good. While I wouldn't typically wait that long for a meal, I could see myself waiting about an hour. The salad I had was excellent, and the French Dovetail soup was the best I've tried in the upstate so far. If you're in the mood for something substantial, I definitely recommend giving it a try.

I visited from the city, and the Peddler is situated just off the charming main street in historic Spartanburg, SC. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I learned that many locals frequent this spot regularly. I ordered the shrimp and scallop combo with cocktail sauce, accompanied by wild rice and an Old Fashioned cocktail. The Old Fashioned was strong and flavorful, the shrimp and scallops were cooked to perfection, the wild rice was bursting with taste, and the butter sauce for the scallops was absolutely delicious.

Every penny worth. great food and even better service.

This is my first time eating at the Peddler Steak house. My experience eating there was really nice . My service name is Dillian . He was very attentive to everything I needed and very friendly. He also was knowledgeable about the food they serve at this restaurant. I really enjoy it and I will be visiting it again. The food was very enjoyable.

We sat upstairs and it was extremely hot. We didn't enjoy it because we couldn't wait to get outside for some air. Disappointed for as much as you pay you should be comfortable. This was our first time there for our friends birthday. Finally an adult night out and it was cut short because we felt we were being cooked like steaks.....
