Papa's Breakfast Nook - Spartanburg

I liked this place a lot! They're open 24 hours (most of the time) , good comfort food, a really fun relaxed atmosphere. I enjoy when you are more like friends/ people, rather than just customers. Some people don't, so if you can't be understanding of the stressful diner atmosphere this isn't the place for you, cuz some of the workers were overwhelmed multitasking. But they were fun and kind and I enjoyed meeting the employees. It's nice to be talked to like a person a rehearsed can I take your order. It was fun to be there I definitely ate my fill!!

We use to come here all the time, but since we moved to Lyman, this is the first time in 20 years. Usually we always got breakfast, and it was always great. We are doing the Spartanburger Trail, and Papas is on the list. We all got their Big burger all the way, It was amazing, I would have liked it better personally if it was on a bun instead of Texas toast. The onion rings were great, and the fries were also.

Just not well executed at all. Menu said Spartanburg?s #1 burger so I went for it. Failed miserably. If it was close I?d understand. Took forever to get order. Country ham was tuff and had salt added to it. Salad was just a mess. While waiting for or order they shouted they had to stop taking orders because the cooks weren?t able to perform their job. I ordered French toast for dessert and it was good and refreshing. It was the only redeeming thing about this visit. *this was at 1am on Saturday

Delicious hidden gem in spartanburg. it looks like it's open around the clock. the müll can order omelette, in-house rider with tweepers and toast. also had the side of the grotten.

I was lucky. the service was really good. eating was really good. the price was reasonable. the atmosphere is somehow dated, but there is the old dinner feeling for them.
