Rita's Italian Ice Frozen Custard

Love this place!! Such a cool tasty treat!!! Refreshing change to your typical ice cream stand.

The owners are wonderful. I quote our kids 'This is the best field trip ever! ' Ashley of Rita 's in Southington and West Hartford hosted a HS science and liquids field trip today for our group. She did an incredible job allowing the children to rotate through 3 stations, register (set up to demo, so they were able to pretend to ring up a customer, accept payment, print receipt etc), poll their peers regarding which flavor would be their favorite and lastly, pick a flavor, read the recipe and create the Water Ice or Custard. Support small business like these that care and are dedicated to our community.

I love it. What I don't like is how early they shut down for the season. Could have stayed open easily another month.

The Southington store is fantastic! Always friendly service. Love the responsiveness on their facebook page. They really listen to their customers!

When you cannot decide which flavor to get, the Ice Flight is the way to go!
