Family Pizza - SOUTHINGTON

Their specialty pizza is so filling. I usually eat Slices of most pizza to be satisfied. It takes exactly one slice of Family Pizza and I am fuller that a lardo in a lard factory. I once met the guy who played the incredible hulk on TV there back in 1983. He wasn't as green as I thought he would be.

Take out only, staff is very pleasant. Really fresh, generous salads, garlic bread is delicious, the pizza is awesome. The main dishes are large enough to share. Our favorites are eggplant parm and veal parm.

This place went down hill after the owner died. I ordered a meatball grinder today. Hardly any meat, the same with the cheese. The grinder roll wasn't even toasted. So sad. In my opinion, Family pizza was the best place to buy a pizza or grinder. Not anymore.

We love the food from Family Pizza ND order from there often. My Mom loves their chocken rice soup. Very friendly staff as well.
