Brooklands Tavern - SOUTHERN RIVER

Ambience amazing, apart from the sudden loud announcements of winners for their games nights. Very fun to watch though. Quite loved it. Candle light adds a nice touch too. Staff were very nice and friendly to approach. Food was amazing, bursting with flavours and aroma. I would strongly recommend people to try out this place! We drove 30 minutes to try this place out. Excellent service! Hats off team. Very put togther and well presented!

Great vibe. Great foodWould've given 5 stars but for the mismanagement of the queueing system in the restaurant area. While we waited patiently to be seated, as was the instruction written on the pedestal, shortly afterwards a couple just wandered in from the bar area and helped themselves to a table of their choice. Not an inconvenience to us whatsoever, but just highlighting an inconsistency regarding the seating instruction that could be addressed to provide 100% clarity.

Enjoyed the food.Only realised because cane with older children, why has the internal door to the play area been removed? Or makes it very awkward as you have to walk them outside and then stay in the play area while they are playing.Not ideal at all

Had a lovely meal there. Also took the kids as there is a playground. The only thing I could fault is the kids had to get to the play ground via front entrance and didn't feel comfortable with them having to use the front door so close to the car park. But all in all great

A booking for 5 and a 8mth baby.We arrived at 6pm and the table catered for 4 and baby.Manager didn't want to turn table longways to add fifth chair in restaurant.Gave us an alternate seating outside,baby in cold weather, decline offer,we sat in pub area and added additional seating Restaurant staff error with seating and didn't accommodate their mistake. NOT HAPPY
