The Alex - Southend-on-Sea

The menu must have been extended since the last reviews, because there were many options! I went for a keep it simple Chick’n burger (also a choice of “no-beef” , sweet potatoes fries and a side of mac n cheeze and my gosh was absolutely what I’m going after a day! delicacies

The alex has gone out of the harder wise to create a great vegan menu, although some of the foods very simple and blanching, sometimes feels like it hurried, could be up to the liveliness of the place.

Has many vegan options and is dog friendly. good atmosphere

Very nice pub clean and tidy, beer well kept. They even had a cold Doombar pump. Food was good and well priced. The staff very polite and welcoming Definitely worth a visit, I will be visiting again.

We had a bottlemess brunch and was served by Steven, food and drinks were amazing. Steven was very attentive and very professional showing great customer service and made sure our glasses were never empty... The definition of bottomless brunch! Definitely coming here again
